Hat Care
Spot Clean for Everyday Freshness
Our hats are spot clean and hand wash only. Wipe away light dirt or sweat with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, working gently around the embroidery.
Hand Wash for a Deeper Clean
Fill a sink with cool water and a gentle detergent (think baby shampoo or mild dish soap). Swish the hat through the water, lightly scrub any spots with a soft brush or cloth, then rinse well with clean, cool water.
Dry It in Shape
Blot off extra water with a towel, then let your hat air-dry over a bowl or a rolled-up towel so the crown keeps its shape.
Leather Strap + Brass Buckle
If your hat has a leather back strap, keep it as dry as you can while washing and wipe it with a soft cloth afterward.
What to Avoid
- Washing machine or dryer - heat and tumbling can bend the brim, shrink the fit and wear down the embroidery.
- Bleach or harsh chemicals - they can fade the fabric and the thread.
- Long soaks - especially on hats with a leather strap.
